Nerman Art Museum Visit

Before heading to the Nerman Art Museum we had the privilege of getting a brief tour of the Art and Technology building at Johnson County Community College. 

This piece of art at the Nerman Museum caught my attention because of all the intricate details and the bright colors that were used. I absolutely loved the color scheme that was used in this art piece. 
My all time  favorite pieces of art at the Nerman Museum were the light up pieces created by Dylan Mortimer. I thought that these pieces were very fun and creative as well as very unique.

    I would like to hear more about the tour at the art department...and those big ideas behind the art, like the halos. You all look so angelic.

    Love the halos! i think the idea behind the crazy lights is cool, interesting how he ties in religion, cool stuff!
